Partnerships with Schools
Google recently announced another partnership with a company that connects employers with education options for their workers. This isn’t the first time Google teamed up with a company that offers educational services, in the past Google has partnered with community colleges and trade schools across the United States, including CCI Training Center.
These partnerships are part of a movement to position Google’s certificates so that they are available to those without a college degree and who want a higher-paying job.
No Degree, No Problem
More and more companies are hiring employees with these Google certificates because they know they are getting highly trained professionals. Additionally, employers know that Google-certified employees come with the skills necessary to hit the ground running as soon as they are hired.
According to a Google survey, 71 percent of Google Cloud Certified individuals enable their employer to get more business, increase work with existing customers and scale up their business. Therefore, IT professionals with a Google certificate look attractive to potential employers.
Get Google Certified with CCI
To help increase the amount of Google-certified professionals, CCI Training Center offers the Associate Google Cloud Engineer certification at both campus locations (Dallas-Fort Worth & Arlington). Students can earn this in-demand certificate in as little as 27 weeks, which is a fraction of the time compared to a traditional degree.
With the Associate Google Cloud Engineer certification, graduates can demonstrate to potential employers that they are proficient in foundational knowledge of cloud services and how the Google platform provides those services.
Responsibilities of a Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer:
- Set up a cloud solution environment
- Plan and configure a cloud solution
- Deploy and implement a cloud solution
- Ensure successful operation of a cloud solution
- Configure access and security
In addition to getting certified, students can take advantage of CCI’s Career Services. The Career Services office offers counseling and employment assistance services to students and helps prepare them to get started in a new career.
