IT Security Fundamentals
The IT Security Fundamentals course provides students with the knowledge and skills to begin supporting network security within an organization. Students who complete this course will be able to identify security threats and vulnerabilities and help respond to and recover from security incidents.
In just a few weeks, you can finish the course. This entry course is just a start. From there, you can then go on and decide on the IT path you want to pursue.
Once you gain a couple of years of experience, consider further training for additional industry certifications. Once in the field, you can expand your knowledge and your capabilities to achieve your goals in career advancement. This is a hands-on program. The schedule is flexible to accommodate the working adults and those with other responsibilities.
Students complete their work on campus and online. You may choose day or evening schedules. The work is completed collaboratively including your classmates and under the supervision of a qualified and experienced instructor. This ensures all students can gain hands-on experience and work on projects altogether without being left behind. Instructors are available to provide lectures and support in class as well as remote support while students work on their online coursework.
