Medical Billing and Coding

CCI Training Center, a Certified Medical Billing and Coding school, provides quality, flexible training in insurance claim processing, coding for diseases and procedures, electronic medical records, and billing and reimbursement procedures. This training in the management of health information prepares you for success as a Medical Administrative Assistant or Billing and Coding Technician.

Medical Billers and Coders fulfill integral roles in the healthcare field such as as a Billing and Coding Technician, Health Information Specialist, Medical Administrative Assistant, Electronic Medical Records Specialist, or Health Technologist. Most positions in this field focus on administrative activities. Graduates may work in direct contact with patients obtaining health histories or completing medical billing paperwork.

Courses include general education for communication in a clinical setting, foundational healthcare training, and subjects specific to success in the Medical Billing and Coding major. Focus is placed on data organization, medical terminology, billing and coding software, and more.

Students in the program receive the training to sit for some of the top certifications in the industry, such as:

• Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS)
• Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)
