Virtual Assistant Literacy

The course aims to equip students with skills to provide administrative, creative, and technical services. With a focus on:

The students will learn the basics of Information Technology, including hardware, software, and networking concepts in computing. They will also learn about databases, best security concepts & practices, and business continuity strategies.

Finally, they will learn about computer support and common troubleshooting techniques.

Students in this class perform hands-on exercises to learn research skills, study techniques, and time management.

They will also gain an understanding of project management and product development, including Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Jira.

Students will learn cloud principles and how cloud solutions are designed. They will also learn how cloud network and storage solutions are used, with a focus on teaching students why organizations must put their users and applications in the cloud.

Next, students will learn how cloud management and technical operations are configured for standard cloud solutions.

Students will also learn about governance and risks associated with cloud deployments. Finally, students will learn cloud compliance and security.

The course enables students to identify and prioritize potential threats to a network, use basic networking knowledge to improve security, defend against the most common DoS attacks, implement security policies, evaluate potential security consultants, and learn how cyber terrorism and information warfare are evolving.
