Cloud computing has been around for several years now but the technology and security that makes it all possible is still quite new. Big companies like Amazon and Apple utilize cloud technology providers like Microsoft Azure for a multitude of things such as running applications or providing streaming services.
CCI Training Center’s Cloud Technology Administration Program offers three unique career education tracks that specialize in one of the major cloud computing management systems. All tracks prepare students for entry-level IT positions working for employers that use these cloud-based services.
Track I introduces students to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, its benefits for cloud computing and specific performance topics that include installation, operation, configuration and provisioning techniques.
Upon completion of Track I, students are prepared to take the MS Certified Azure Fundamentals exam, an industry recognized certificate that demonstrates skills and knowledge of the Azure platform’s specific tools and protocol. Students who successfully complete this program track will receive a certificate of Completion in Cloud Technology Administration.

Cloud Essentials
Don’t know what the cloud is and what it does? This course will get students started with cloud principles and how cloud solutions are designed. Then, they will move onto network and storage solutions that are used in the cloud.
In addition, participants will learn about why organizations need to put their users and applications in the cloud. Next, cloud management and technical operations will be covered. Finally, students will learn about governance, risks associated with cloud deployments and cloud compliance and security.
Cloud+
To build on what is covered in Cloud Essentials, this course will provide students with hands-on labs that simulates real world, hardware, software and command line interface environments. Participants will also learn and understand working with business continuity, infrastructure, security, virtualization, resource management, and cloud models.
The course closes with an overview of the new technologies to support the changing cloud market as more organizations depend on cloud-based technologies. Students who complete Cloud Essentials and Cloud+ will leave with a great overall understanding of the cloud environment and how it functions.
Azure Fundamentals
In this course students will learn the benefits of cloud computing in the Microsoft Azure environment. In addition, they will learn how to compare and contrast basic strategies for moving users and applications to the Microsoft Azure platform. Finally, course enrollees will explore the different services that are used, such as CPU, networking storage and security.
MS Certified Azure Fundamentals
This course complements Azure Fundamentals and helps students prepare for the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals Exam (AZ-900). This class teaches industry terms and concepts. Students will also learn the Azure core services, products, solutions and tools used in Azure Administration tasks.
Additionally, participants will learn about security, privacy, and compliance as it relates to standard industry protocols and Azure cloud administration. Finally, the students will learn how the Azure pricing structure are defined, as well as how to maintain and support Azure cloud services and environments.
